Aquaculture:

Hau Giang province cannot find an output for Notopterus chitala fingerlings.

The increasing number of households breeding Tra fish causes hardship for management and planning as fingerling and output are scarce.

Areola babylon and sea cucumber are promising seafood in Phu Yen area.

Lobster price significantly declines because Chinese traders reduce the purchase.

Processing, import and export:

The restriction in testing from Japan will significantly influence shrimp exportation of Vietnam because our export companies find it hard to keep Ethoxyquin under 10 ppb (0.01 ppm).

Experts predict the lack of 40% Tra fish raw material in the third quarter of 2012.

Tra Fish Vietnam Association was established to create a sustainable path for Tra fish farming.

Livestock:

Vu Van Tu, living in Khanh Hoa province, has 20 year experience vigorating gà ri (Gallus gallus otomesticus), a local species.

In recent years in Phu Quoc island, people successfully invest in farming models that were expected to be built in land.

Cooperatives Hieu Liem that raising deers in Dong Nai province received collective trademark.

Cultivation:

My Tho commune, Phu My district in Binh Dinh province attracts people with its giant squash.

Fruit:

“Chổi rồng” disease appears in 24,469 hectares of longan in Mekong Delta.

In addition to coconut, sweet potato, and crab, Chinese traders now directly buy pineapple from farmers in Mekong Delta with high price.

Living and environment:

The return of Panax vietnamensis (Ngoc Linh ginseng) causes boundary and label disputes as well as ginseng thefts.

Rare and beautiful arowana are raised because of medical treatment, or hobbies in Ha Noi.

Hundreds of cactus growing in greenhouse of Da Lat develop quickly with special care. These trees are predicted to bring high profit to florists.

Rare snails appear in Cu Lao Cham beach in Quang Nam province.
