Aquaculture: Carps are prepared for a famous holiday near Lunar New Year in Vietnam. With natural advantages, Quang Ninh province develops krill farming in recent years. Bac Lieu province promotes methods that prevent impurities injection in shrimp. Center for Aquacucture - Agricultural Extension in Tra Vinh province promoted breeding black tiger shrimp with GAP standards. This model can bring VND500 millions/hectare.
Processing, import and export: Vietnamese fried fish is one of four major seafood products of the country for the first time in 2011.
Livestock: Dong Nai province develops wild animals farming to provide for Lunar New Year Holiday. Small Indian Civet is now bred in Cam Mountain in An Giang province.
Cultivation: Organic rice “Hoa Sua” of Vien Phu Commercial and Production JSC. is certified American and EU standards.
Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers: According to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, turnover of some exporting products in 2012 will decrease compared with in 2011. The effect of advanced technology creates a positive impact in salt industry in Ninh Thuan province.
Growing watermelon on frame brings positive result. Dragon fruit price declines in Lunar New Year Holiday since Chinese market doesn’t consume this fruit as strong as many years ago. Dragon fruit from Binh Thuan province is protected in the U.S. While other fruits price considerably declines, rambutan and longan price reach their peaks in Mekong River Delta.
Living and environment: Nguyen Thanh Tung, a worker, living in Tan My Chanh commune, My Tho city, Tien Giang province, becomes rich by growing and saling ochna integerrima tree.
Pet, flower and others: Nha Trang province opens the garden that has 5,000 ochna integerrima tree. Flower market this year is unpredictable since the consumption decreases; lily flowers price significantly declines.
