Aquaculture: Dispatch No. 2994 hasn’t removed white leg shrimp and Pacific oyster from the list of endangered species. Changing model, diversify products, and applying technology are effective ways to develop agriculture in Central provinces. Lobster has reached its highest price in Song Cau (Phu Yen province). Ha Noi faces difficulties since agricultural consultants are needed to manage the area of intensive aquaculture. The area of clam and oyster may reach 35,000 ha in 2020 in Mekong Delta. Feeding machine for shrimp brings advantages to farming by reducing time and labor.
Tra fish is purchased as committed. Companies exporting and processing seafood get high profit since the demand of market increases in the end of the year.
Livestock: Pork imported in July decreases the food price, which makes farmers worry. Chicken with nine cựa, a legendary animal, appears in Xuan Son (Phu Tho). Breeding deer brings VND30 – 50 million/pair/year in Tuy An (Phu Yen province). Prime Minister signed the supplement to the Decision No.719/QD-TTg. The support for farmers having destroyed animals is increased.
Cultivation: Vietnamese companies have planted potatoes in Van Nam province (China) for years. Intercropping cashew and cocoa brings high profit. An Giang Plant Protection Joint Stock Company increases the model field into 100,000ha. From Ho Chi Minh City, the center of technological development, companies transfer technology to farmers. Pepper price increases every day, perhaps every hour.
Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers: Importation of alien species can be fined VND500 million. Products consumption is still a problem for farmers and companies. “Buon Ma Thuot Coffee” label is reserved by a foreign company.
