Aquaculture:

Fresh giant prawn’s price is higher than last year’s.

An Giang aquatic breeds center transfers Tra’s breed production technology in SQF 1000 CM, Global Gap.

Lobster season is successful in Phu Yen province.

The lack of cold water because of dry season causes difficulties to salmon farming in Lao Cai province.

Artificial Reproduction of freshwater dolphin is successful.

Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) agreed to increase the price of exported fish fillets and fish raw materials at the beginning of 7/2011.

45 Tra fish’s breeding areas are certificated Global GAP.

Processing, import and export:

US delays its POR5 publication of Vietnam’s shrimp.

263,170 tons of Tra fish were exported in the last five months.

Livestock:
