Aquaculture:
Tuna’s exploitation in Phu Yen gains 90% output of 2010.
Farmers prevent diseases since shrimp died in a large area in Mekong Delta.
Circular 38/2011/TT-BNNPTNT, validated from 7/7/2011, supports 500 million VND to agricultural demonstration.
Agifish company invests 200 billion VND to Tra fish’s food for farmers.
The lack of investment causes hardship for research of shrimp breed’s quality.
Processing, import and export:
Vietnamese Tra fish gains 95% whitefish market in the world.
Unfair competition between companies is a limit for Tra fish development in following years. Tra fish may lose its exclusive position.
Tra fish’s export price increased in the first quarter of this year.
From June 9th 2011, Japan increases its frequency of enrofloxacin inspection from 30% to 100% in shrimp products.
Livestock:
In Viet Hung, Long Bien district, Ha Noi, Le Mat snake village is famous for its breeding, processing, and using products from snake.
Nguyen Ho quail farming is the first farm having a certificate of exclusive branch.
Boar breeding in household size or semi-wild method brings high profit in Mekong Delta.
Breeding deer to take velvet brings high income in Binh Duong province.
Weasel from South America makes high profit. They eat grass and vegetable while having nutritional meat and high price.
Cultivation:
Intercropping peanut and cassava is profitable in Quang Ngai province.
Medlar fruit, a specialty of Bac Yen District, Son La province, reduce poverty for poor residents.
Bisuco and farmers in Binh Dinh province are encouraged because in 2010-2011 season, sugarcane’s purchase price is high; sugar price in the market increases stably.
Agriculture, Countryside and Farmers:
After a year applying Decree 41, farm owners still lack capital for investment while some people haven’t known this policy.
Fruit:
Litchi season this year is successful. The yield increases twice since last year.
Thanks to diverse products, advantageous export tax and technology, Vietnamese fruit can get access to new markets instead of depending on a limited number of market like before.
Living and environment:
A 3.5 kg mushroom was identified in Binh Duong province.
A cempedak has about 300 fruits in Nguyen Van Thao’s garden in Hoa Da village, An My town, Tuy An district, Phu Yen province.
Pet, flower and others:
